'Bunch of me

you know..just a bunch + I'm finally into blogger

No, I haven't invented a new form of dancing, instead I've found something worth its hexadecimal signature in gold (gold I tell ya). I'm talking about the free PDF converter called "do PDF". Do PDF installs itself as a printer so that you can convert any document(s), let it be txt, html, doc, ppt or anything else into the shiny new "Hip" format of the new-world which goes by the extension - "pdf". Sure there are a lot of pdf converter out there, but doPDF has some advantages:

  • Extremely lightweight (<3mb).
  • Very simple interface and unbeatable ease of use.
  • Integrates flawlessly into any application, MS Word, MS Power Point, Notepad..you name it.
  • and finally, its totally free.. Free as in beer.

You just have to download the app, install it and select the printer named "doPDF" when you want to make a pdf out of a currently opened document. Here, this might help a bit:

This makes the circle complete, with its rightful brethren "Foxit Reader" by its side, doPDF will reign supreme on my pc atleast.

  1. Nice one. This is a huge help. Pretty much all I do at work is write newsletters, so having a free converter on my own computer saves a lot of time. Thanks.

  2. Thanks, Sajid. doPDF really is an interesting app. I've tried many such converters before, but most of the time there were "compatibility issues" and random crashes. DoPDF really works flawlessly.
